Edi Phi Service Projects Jesus said it best in Matthew 23:11: "The greatest among you will be your servant". Edi Phi has made that scripture their own and has a committee designed to serve our church and community. It has been a huge blessing for all the members to be able to get out and make a difference in other people's lives. Serving has helped transform Edi Phi into more than just a group that meets and has parties - it is a group with purpose. We have helped in various activities at Phoenix First and around our city. At church, the group ushers twice on Sundays and will often do security for the services. We also will help out at big events like Hillsong Sunday, the Celebration of Christmas and Celebrate America presentations and with the youth. In our community, we volunteer on Adopt A Block, where we go out into the poorer neighborhoods to clean the streets of trash, bring needy families food and clothing and share the message of hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
